The competition will take place on 03.02.2018 at the Danube Plaza Restaurant, in the city of Ruse in two parts – a closed tasting and ball with awards.
- Sample collection
Dionis-Elena Ltd. retains part of the format of last year's competition edition – the cost of participation with one sample of two 750 ml bottles of wine is BGN 20 including VAT.
The samples must be prepared in a 750 ml bottle with a working label in the following format: names/phone/grape varieties or you can get labels when you submit the sample.

Samples will be collected from January 2, 2018 to January 27, 2018 at the office of Dionis-Elena Ltd., Ruse, 137 Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd., phone +359 82 876 068. Samples sent by courier by January 20, 2018 (date of the waybill) will be processed and included in the competition.
2. Closed Tasting
On 02.02.2018 from 10:30 to the end of the tasting, a closed tasting will be held by a three-member panel using the 100-point system.

The committee consists of oenologists with extensive experience in the industry and wine tasting. The samples will be tasted in a predetermined order according to the tasting requirements for the type of wine (white, rosé, red, dry, semi-dry, dessert) and the variety (non-aromatic varieties, aromatic varieties, blends). The tasting will be completely anonymous – the samples will be prepared by the Dionis-Elena Ltd. team with a code and opaque packaging. A trained waiter will serve the wines to the committee. If necessary, the wines will be tasted again or several times simultaneously, as deemed necessary by the committee.
The jury composition will be announced on February 3, 2018, at a ball held on the occasion of the third annual wine competition in the city of Ruse.
The penalties will be divided into the following categories:
- Wine of the year 2017
- Varietal wine – white varietal wine; red varietal wine
- Blended wine – blended white wine; blended red wine
- Rose
- Wine with the participation of direct varieties (dessert, wild and other grape varieties) - white wine; red wine
- A ball to celebrate the award ceremony of the third annual wine competition for the city of Ruse.
The ball will take place on 03.02.2018 at 19:00 in the Danube Plaza restaurant, city. Ruse with sound and a short program.

Due to the lack of a large number of wines in this category, the awards were given according to the level and number of points of the white varietal wines.
